Thursday, April 18 - Fly Tying Meeting Session Leader: ALL
Featured Fly: Open Vise Night: this evening is for tyers at all levels – beginner, intermediate and advanced – to share ideas and learn from each other. The idea is to focus on early season patterns that could be used on our outing to Humber Springs. Do you have a favourite go-to fly that has worked well for you in the past? Bring your tying gear and materials and show us how you tie it. Have you seen a fly and you’re not too sure how to tie it? Bring any information you have and we’ll work it out together.
What to Bring
Our fly tying sessions are open to Club members and guests who already have a basic knowledge of fly tying. To learn the featured patterns, bring your fly tying tools, thread and the materials listed for each fly. (Hint: click above on "Materials and photos" to be linked to the list.) A fly tying lamp is recommended, but not essential.
Observers are also welcome. Drop by to watch or to chat with other Club members.
